Saving people everywhere from premature christmas decorations. One week before christmas is the only acceptable to decorate the house/tree.

One of our cats sleeps in our Christmas tree every single year.😂

I have a video of her from a few years ago scaling the tree! Last year's tree was too short for her to climb so she knocked it over a few times instead.

We used to have a cat that did that. He would climb the tree, fall asleep, fall out of the tree, and bring half the decorations with him. I miss that naughty jerk face.

We gave up and got a small table top one lol.

My cat won't climb anything but the Christmas tree. Thought I lost him two days ago 😂

We have 2 new kittens this year. This is definitely going to be us when the tree is up.

My advice is to get presents around the tree as quickly as possible. She kept knocking the tree over but couldn't when it was surrounded by presents. But then she took to sitting on the gifts and ripping off bows. I found it was much easier to replace bows than to keep redecorating the tree though. Good luck!

With kittens, I'd also be very careful of the lights. My Christmas lights lasted ten minutes that first Christmas with my kitten! How he avoided being electrocuted, I don't know.

My tree is not going up this year for that very reason. We'll decorate outside the house but Ruth (our kitten) has climbed everything possible in our house and I'm not keen to see her ruin the tree. She is getting her third climbing/scratching post for Christmas though.

I assume my cats think its an obstacle course. Stupid hooman puts up shiny toys on a unstable surface, and the first to take down all the toys gets a giant treat basket.

The prize has never been distributed, but its that small glimmer of hope that motivates them trying for it every. Single. Year.

Yup. Love my little a-holes.
